Jon Moen founded and runs Vulcan AI. Twenty years building high-density computing infrastructure, more than fifty data-center deployments, and a tenure as Technical Director of EKWB USA designing and shipping $500K liquid-cooled GPU servers to MIT, Cornell, CrowdStrike, the US Navy, and NATO. There is no account team between you and the engineer doing the work.
Principal-led is a structural choice, not a marketing line
Every engagement, the readiness assessment, the design review, the retrofit advisory, and deployment oversight, is led personally by Jon Moen. There is no bench of junior engineers running the analysis while a principal reviews it at the end. The person who audits your facility, reviews your cooling design, or signs off on a commissioning test is the same person who has done it fifty times before, on-site, not from a summary.
A network, not a firm
Some engagements need expertise Vulcan AI does not claim to own directly: electrical engineering stamped by a licensed PE, structural assessment of an aging industrial shell, or water-rights and hydrology work on a retrofit site. For those scopes, Vulcan AI works with a network of specialist partners brought in by name and credential once a project needs them, rather than staffed generically in advance. No partner is named here until a specific engagement requires one, because a list of names attached to no active work is exactly the kind of padding this practice is built to avoid.
