Your rights

Request what is stored on you, or request its deletion, by email.

1. The plain-English version first

Vulcan AI collects what you tell it directly: your contact form submission and any questions you ask Ask Vulcan. It does not run ad trackers, does not use analytics cookies, and does not sell data to anyone.

2. The contact form

When you submit the contact form, Vulcan AI stores your name, email, company, and message in its database. That information is used only to respond to your inquiry. It is not shared with third parties and not used for marketing.

3. Ask Vulcan

Questions you ask Ask Vulcan are stored together with a session identifier, so a conversation can hold context and so the underlying corpus can be improved where it comes up short. Session identifiers are not tied to your name or email unless you provide them separately through the contact form.

What we collect versus what we do not

  • We collect: contact form details, Ask Vulcan questions and session ids, theme preference in your browser
  • We do not collect: ad trackers, analytics cookies, cross-site tracking, or data we sell to anyone

4. Theme preference

Your choice between light and dark theme is stored in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device and is not sent to Vulcan AI's servers.

5. What we do not do

Vulcan AI does not run ad trackers and does not use analytics cookies at this time. Nothing collected through this site is sold to third parties.

What happens to information you submit

  1. Submitted: contact form or Ask Vulcan question sent
  2. Stored: saved in Vulcan AI's database, tied only to what you provided
  3. Used: to respond to you, or to improve Ask Vulcan's answers
  4. Deleted on request: email a deletion request and it is removed

6. Your rights

You can ask what Vulcan AI holds about you, or ask for it to be deleted, at any time. Send that request to jon@bevulcanai.com. This applies regardless of where you are writing from, including under GDPR and CCPA, though Vulcan AI does not claim formal certification under either framework.
